Acceptable Location, Some Disappointing Room Issues

The hotel is located conveniently, a plus.
The room I was assigned had some issues. The shower had a very low ceiling. It felt a bit cramped. The room looked quite worn out. The walls needed painting.

Charming Getaway Near Vondelpark

Our quadruple room was located in a bungalow behind the main building. The location was quiet and peaceful, really perfect for a relaxed stay. The bus to and from the airport was only a short walk away, which greatly simplified our arrival and departure. I appreciated the close proximity to various museums.
I noticed the Wi-Fi signal was sometimes a bit weak, made video calls difficult.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They swiftly addressed our requests and provided useful information about the area, our comfort throughout our visit. The complimentary coffee machine was a thoughtful addition, available to enjoy in the backyard garden.

The front desk staff were helpful at all times. The location is very convenient to the park, museums and several restaurants. The hotel also features a very nice backyard garden.
The room was not as good as advertised. The bathroom showed clear signs of not being thoroughly cleaned with hairs on the floor. Noise proofing is poor. I heard noise from other residents very late at night and early in the morning.

the hotel provided a convenient location near the park. i also appreciated the tram access for getting to the central train station quickly. bike rentals were easily available, a big plus for exploring. staff were friendly and accommodating .
The room lacked thorough cleaning. I saw hairs on the bathroom floor. an empty coffee cream packet sat in the bedside table shelf. the shower head didn't extend upwards fully. Water pressure was low.
